Our Story

Founder Adrienne Neal, MA, LPC-S brings over a decade of experience as a Licensed Counselor and sport psychology consultant. We work with athletes of all sports ranging from youth to NCAA and Olympic levels, but you don’t have to be an athlete to benefit from our work together. In fact, we can't have performance or health without a healthy mind.  At PEAK, use a host of research-based and effective techniques to move those we work with toward their goals; whatever it involves improved performance or working through emotional, relational, trauma, or other psychological difficulties. PEAK emphasizes forming a unique partnership with each individual or organization we work with, as that together we can accomplish so much more.
Adrienne has also contributed to popular websites like Believe in the Run, STACK sports magazine, Runner's World, and other top blogs including The Huffington Post. Other projects include assisting in continuing education curriculum development for the Board of Certification of Athletic Trainers. A lifelong and former elite athlete, Adrienne likes to pair her experience in sport with her work to help each individual work to become the best version of themselves.

He specializes in supporting those seeking to improve anxiety, depression, identity development, relationship issues, communication skills, emotional skills, self esteem, athletic performance, and other concerns related to their relational, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Philip has always been passionate about creative and athletic pursuits. A multisport athlete his entire life, he has competed in football, basketball, baseball, track and field, swimming, and currently competes in high-level amateur golf tournaments. Aside from being a lifelong competitive athlete, he combines experience as a basketball coach, golf coach, and caddie with his counseling background to connect with athletes and performers of all levels. He earned his Bachelors in Psychology from Texas A&M University and completed his Masters in Counseling at the University of North Texas at Dallas.

Philip believes that perspective is one of the most powerful tools for transformation. As athletes and individuals, we are powerful creatives, with the ability to author our stories through new tools and behaviors. Philip will help you build an identity rooted in resilience, confidence, and personalized tools that uncover inner strengths long forgotten or yet to be discovered.

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, uncertain, or have lost passion and enjoyment for what was once a wonderful challenge and source of joy, Philip is here to walk alongside you, offering an accepting and open space to explore your difficulties and reignite the flame of hope and self-belief.
